I will translate what we wrote for the show where we presented this photos:
"The patriotic symbols (cow meat and Argentinian flag ) present themselves to provoke a reflection about the Argentine patriotic self.
Degradation and over exposure appear as a topic to reflect on. Continuous dialogged between the contemporary aesthetics of the obvious and the apparent surmounting of the taboos"

Nice shot. Different enough to provoke the imagination, Not sure I understand what the words mean, even in translation, but they roll nicely off the tongue. As would the meat.

@Peng Wei Seng: The idea came thinking about symbols that represent my country. Cow meat is something Argentina is well known for, and something Argentines take pride from. It symbolizes how this things changed throughout the years and how they where deformed by the society and a community that re thinks their self all the time. We also wanted to think about the aesthetic of the naked and the obvious that is something we see in a global level, not just in my country.
